After making the trip to Haridwar, you can go to the splendid place of Yamunotri.  It is the origination of the river Yamuna also linked to the goddess Yamuna. It s said that the lord Krishna used to play on the banks of the river Yamuna. Following the trip to Yamunotri and having the holy dip at the place of origination, you can proceed to the second spot known as the Gangotri. It is pious place and has the relevance among Hindus. The Ganges is believed to be a river of piety and is considered to be as the eradicator of sins. When you have the holy dip at the place of origination of the river Ganges; it is all together an experience that is beyond description. After having the holy dip, you feel as if the load of the sins from your shoulders is completely eradicated. Proceed to the third spot by the name Kedarnath and it is the place of lord Shiva. The 4th in the list of the spots is the splendid Badrinath. It is the place of lord Vishnu and Shankaracharya is said to have meditated here.
