Summer Honeymoon Destinations in India
If you are planning to visit India in the summer for your honeymoon, it advised to opt for a hill station. Due to the harsh, tropical Indian summer temperatures in lower regions, hill stations were developed by British officials as summer retreats. Small towns were built with beautiful cottages, churches and administrative buildings in the colonial style, to add a distinctive look to the Indian hills. Many honeymoon packages include accommodation in these British cottages, which are often located in quiet, peaceful areas—ideal for a couple on their honeymoon.
