I owned a very lucrative real world industry for over thirty years Four years ago the desperate economy took its toll. Customers that I did business with since the begining, began to go under within a short period of time I went from being a prosperous man to a poor man with depression and a panic disorder. I was close to 60, unhealthy, and in need of income. The thought of starting over at McDonalds at this point, scared the daylights out of me. But there in my email was my solution. “Google wants to pay you 1000 a day to stay inactive” Wow, what was I afraid of?
With theminute money I had, I began to order many Internet books and tutorials. They all pretty much made it seem easily done. Many of them seemed to have the same elements. A long page filled with testimonials and charts that showed accounts busting out at the seams with funds. Could it really be that easy?
I know quite a bit about computers and the internet, surely I would be good at this. Many of these plans used similar tactics. One, I call the multiplication factor.
“If you made just two sales a day, your thirty eight dollar commission equals 76dollars a day, times 7 days a week =532 a week. , from just two sales!” Hey that sounds very attainable. I bet I can sell more than two a day easily. I dont know why at that time I believed that every day these two sales had to happen, for the entire year. But when youre desperate and there is a little math to explain it, you believe the concept. Now I realize that there is no guarantee. If you make two sales on Monday, there is no guarantee you will make ANY sales on Tuesday.
Next on the typical offer, there is box after box of testimonials. You see it must be true. Look, that guy made 30 sales a day and he doesnt look that intelligent. So you start to believe. Thats good because the first thing the plan teaches you is you have to have the right mindset. You must believe, totally, that you are going to make a fortune. Of course, that makes sense.
Then comes a little magic. “How to use a free tool, to get hordes of people to your page, every day!” Great, its a free tool, and Ill get thousands of people a day! It will be easy to make those two sales a day.”
Then begins your hard work.Learning how to use four keyword tools together, along with the super cool Google Wonder Wheel, to figure out, exactly what products people are looking for. Hungry Fish! Then how to backlink your sites by opening hundreds accounts on this site or that site. Finally after hours of watching countless videos and opening accounts on many of websites, you are ready to get those sales. You backlink, socialbookmark, and generally ping your butt off. Now to check your account.. Thirty people a day, no sales. Hey where was that free tool, I didnt see it ?
O.K., so enough of that. Chances are youve been there. In truth, all these schemes there is a tiny bit of truth, and a whole lot of manure.The truth is after one year, I am making respectable money online. But not in my pajamas. There are two truths I can give to you. The first is you need to find people that are already searching for something. The second tip is to be successful, you need to at some point, put “yourself” into the method.
There are in truth methods that have worked in the past, and will work in the future. Some of them are easier than you would think. AND, there are a few marketing heros out there that are giving you the right information. It may not be as earth shattering as you think itshould be but in the end, it is these simple truths that pay off. ::
