They should maintain cleanliness all over the house by doing the laundry, dishes, cleaning the bedroom, bathroom, regular garbage disposal and making sure that there will be no obstructions that can cause accidents.
Even if patients are staying at home they can still receive medical help through a registered nurse. If the patients are suffering from terminal illness or they need serious medical attention, they can hire a nurse that can provide them with quality assistance. Elder care specialists that don’t specialize in providing medical care are not allowed to do this because their skills are limited and besides the doctor will recommend hiring a registered nurse.
