Ignou Celebrating 26th foundation day on 19th Nov 2011

The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) shall be celebrating its 26th Establishment Day on 19th Nov 2011, the birth anniversary of the late Prime Minister Smt. Indira Gandhi.

Vice-Chancellor, Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Prof. S.K.Sopory (reputed molecular biologist), will be the chief guest for the event, and will deliver the Foundation Day lecture on ‘The current higher educational scenario in India’at3:30 p.m.in the Convention Centre of the University’s headquarters.

The countrywide telecast of the programme will be available through Gyan Darshan, while the webcast of the function will be available on the University’s website.
