Snapping Elements in Flash Designs: Five Ways of Doing It with Flash CS4

The second major feature is Snap to Grid, which helps in positioning of an element’s center or edge in a user-defined grid.
For snapping elements to a grid, go to View, then Snapping, then to Snap to Grid. While dragging an element to a gridline, potential snap points are displayed by Flash. The next feature is Snap to Guides. For snapping elements to guides, go to View then Snapping and then to Snap to Guides. This process is same as the process involved in snapping to grid. Guidelines and elements are displayed as you snap to guides. Snap to Pixels is the fourth snapping feature, which enables you in moving elements in whole-pixel steps. For snapping elements to pixels, select View then Snapping and then Snap to Pixels. The last main snapping feature used Flash web design is Snap to Objects.
