Overall
The Nokia 2600 classic is mostly an entry-level phone, with the basic features that provide for calling and texting. Many could complain about the limited abilities of this phone but those looking for basic functions that a cell phone is supposed to deliver will be satisfied with the Nokia 2600 classic.
The phone features an FM radio for entertainment purposes, and integrates the function of Nokia Xpress Audio Messaging, which allows for recording and editing messages on the go.
The style and design of the 2600 classic is rather classic and it comes in a compact size that is very pocket-friendly. It is also easy to use, with a well-laid out keypad and a 5-way navigational key that makes navigating the interfaces and menu easy. The keypad is very user-friendly.
The screen is of decent resolution with beautiful colors and display is sharp enough and crisp.
The camera is satisfactory and takes good pictures that display well on the screen.
Sound quality is good on the phone, though in-call volume can be slightly low. Ringtone volume, especially where message alerts are concerned, can be real loud when set to maximum level. This appears to be helpful in noisy environments.
The Nokia 2600 classic also features an integrated handsfree speaker.
Basic features such as organiser and calculator are available, and Nokia has added the spreadsheet function to the 2600 classic. This is a welcome addition that many will find helpful. The spreadsheet also displays well on the screen.
Commendable mention has to be made for the ability to have medium and large text font, helpful for those who have problems reading small text font.
There are issues however where customization is concerned. The 2600 classic doesn’t allow much scope for this, except for the Xpress On covers. polyphonic ringtones are built-in and cannot be downloaded, and the ringtone composer allows for only mono tones.

-Volume is a bit low
Special mention
Cheap and good for the call/text user
Conclusion
A good basic-level phone for the price conscious, the Nokia 2600 classic is stylish and compact. It delivers on all aspects of basic phone use. The addition of Bluetooth gives it a plus.
