Planning The Perfect Family Wedding

Planning a wedding can be a huge reasonability and task for any bride or bridesmaid, wedding planner to undertake. There are so many large and small details that need to be attended to. Wedding plans usually start 1 year before the wedding however I have heard some larger weddings start getting pre-planned up to three tears in advance. This is due to the popularity of the venue and the sheer cost of a large wedding with literally over 100 guests.

To start off with write a guest list, discuss with your partner who’s invited, write the list and stick to the number agreed. It is frequent that the list grows bigger and bigger until the numbers are just too big to handle. Add an additional 10-15 people to that number just in case guests bring the children or someone else along. That way the buffet or will not be short.

The venue, church, garden. Beach, chapel there are so many places a person can get married . Both sides of the family coming together, find a venue that you like and discuss the numbers allowed in it.

Venues can be very expensive so ring around and book it in plenty of time. Most people have it booked around 6months before the wedding. Ask about how you are allowed to decorate the church ect, putting flowers on the pillars. Now is this the venue you will then have the after party and meal/buffet if not you have to find a suitable area that does catering.

Venues that are familiar with weddings usually have pre-planned out packages for different budgets and tastes. Order a wedding pack and look at the option that best suits you. Ask questions about decorating the hall/room, and ask about the times you will have the room to and from. On weddings usually the staffs clear up afterwards.

The wedding cake is also a important part in planning a wedding, ask friends and family for recommendations or go to wedding fairs to try out different choices and fillings of cakes. The main popular two choices are sponge filling and fruit cake, however this does not mean you cannot get one made to suit your requirements.
