Spinner, 20, of Syracuse was charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.Nicholas A. Blaney, 19, of Liverpool was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled ubstance, unlawful possession of marijuana and possessing a controlled substance not in its original container.Robert V. Yormick, 41, of Syracyse, was charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

A total of 690 vehicles passed through the checkpoint with 230 drivers diverted for assessment.
