For those areas where the wireless connection may be a little shaky, there is a built in flip-up antennae that will help keep you connected, especially if you are using the device while in a moving vehicle.
The V740 is compact-sized, lighter than most PC cards, and takes up very little room. The amount of resources needed to run the device is not bad, either. You need 14MB of hard drive space and 32MB of RAM, and of course your choice of a web browser.
