CBSE syllabus in Pre-University Course (PUC) in Karnataka from 2012-13
CBSE syllabus would be offered in science stream (physics, biochemistry, mathematics, biology) in Pre-University Course (PUC) in Karnataka from the next instructional season, Primary and Second Education Minister, Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri, said today.
First season PUC students (11th standard) would have CBSE program from 2012-13 and proceed with it next season (12th standard). Those who are in second PUC (12th standard) next season (2012-13) would, however, have condition program, he informed journalists here.
“The aim is to see that the learners are able to contend in all-India checks successfully,” the Reverend said.
Bridge course would be performed after SSLC (10th standard) as learners are certain to deal with some problems and stress while changing over to the CBSE program, Kageri said, including, instructors would also be qualified in the procedure.
Fifth and 8th normal learners would have new guides from the returning instructional season (2012-13), while the other expectations would have new guides from 2013-14, he said.
Course elements on the collections of CBSE are being complete by source individuals as per the Nationwide Curriculum Structure 2005, the Reverend said, including substantial discussions had been used with former education ministers, professionals and NGOs on changing articles in track with existing periods.
