Admire Sydney’s Modern Attractions
For many, Australia is a very exotic destination. The oceans that surround it, the mountains and the desert turn it into a country-continent worth visiting. And, if you think about the fact that in Australia there are some of the most venomous and dangerous animal species in the world, you know that you will get not only an outlandish vacation, but also a lot of adrenalin. Another interesting aspect about Australia is that it’s the only country in the world that occupies a whole continent. One of the most famous and visited cities in Australia is not the capital, Canberra, but Sydney its largest city. Onsite you’ll come across fabulous places on interest and amazing accommodations. We’ve stayed at the Intercontinental nice hotels in Sydney, Australia and we’ve had the best time.
Attractions in Sydney Australia are numerous so after visiting all of them make sure you consider a nice hotel in Sydney to accommodate. Everywhere you look you find something interesting to see; from cultural and historical institutions to modern entertainment places, from great constructions to fabulous people, once you’re here you’ll never want to leave. One of the best-known sights in the city is Sydney Opera House. Situated very close to the city center, the opera represents a symbol and an architectural miracle. The construction of the building started in 1959 and was finished and opened by Queen Elizabeth II in October 1973. The Sydney Opera House has four halls: a drama theater, a concert hall, an opera house and a recital hall. In 1998, was added a fifth theater to the building. It also shelters many bars and restaurants. Visit this amazing place if you want to feel the heart of Sydney’s cultural scene.
Other interesting attractions in Sydney are the Sydney Harbor and the Sydney Harbor Bridge. The last one, a real icon, offers a great panoramic view of the city, the port itself and the surroundings. It took them eight years to build it, until 1932, but in the end a miracle came out. The bridge links North Sydney with the city and it has two railways and eight traffic roads.
If you want to see animal species that can be found only in Australia, like kangaroos, or unique plants, go visit the Taragona Park Zoo and the Royal Botanic Gardens. They are two incredible attractions. Also, another awesome sight is Sydney Aquarium. It has more than 350 species, including sharks. When you get to Sydney you must go take a sun bath on its beautiful beaches: Palm Beach, Bondi Beach, Balmoral Beach, Bronte Beach or Manly Beach. After that you can go have some fun at the Sydney Entertainment Center or at the Star City caosino. When it comes to culture, Sydney is very bidding, providing lots of museums and art galleries for the visitors.
