Facial animation can be difficult. Here are some steps to create a detailed more realistic expressions. The easiest part of facial expression animation is finding where to begin in iClone. Anything needed for these tasks are located in the head and animation tab of the navigation bar. In these tabs you can add emotion, with a simple drag and drop. They have many different emotions to choose, from happy to sad and everything in between. The most important part is to make your character talk and the easiest way to do this is text to speech. Here, you type in whatever you want the character to say and preview it before making it final. Importing files such as CTS will show emotion and sound together. A WAV file will add sound and you can use a pre recorder file or record one live.
