Quentin Townsend And The Saga of His Achievements
The path of success for Quentin Townsend started from the early school days, when he used to play basketball for his school. His height and active mind accelerated his gaming years while in college. Although he was a good player, he made up his mind to become a successful entrepreneur. The Atlanta Vision for example is the gem in his career.
The Biggest Achievement
The journey of achievements started from a very early age for Townsend. In the year 2004, after gathering a suitable amount for investment, Townsend took a step to franchise the foundation market of Atlanta Basketball Association of America. Later that year, he changed the name of the franchise into Atlanta Vision. Today, Atlanta Vision is a household name for basketball fans around the area. Changing the name of the franchise was only a single idea out of his huge future prospective plans. Within a span of three months, he established himself as a prominent basketball team manager. Under the managing skills of Townsend, the team went on to hold the title of the “Atlanta’s Best Value for Sports Entertainment”.
In the year 2007, the team transferred in Gwinnett Arena and all their seven games were determined to be played in the neighboring schools. All the earnings of the games were later given to schools, where the games were organized. Soon Quentin Townsend launched the RaisetheRoofAtlanta.com for intensive campaign of reviving the Olympic Tennis Center and also for converting it into the Gwinnett Community Dome. The community later became home for his basketball team.
Later Works
In the year 2008, Townsend was elected as the COO and President of the ABA. His official post took effect from 30th April, 2008. The CEO of ABA later expressed that making Townsend the president and COO was an initial modification. The CEO and the whole organizing body have put their total trust on him after seeing his performances from the year 2004. It was because of his efforts that the team emerged as a winning team in the region.
As the elected President of the ABA, Quentin Townsend started his endless work achievements by starting a well-organized management committee in five regions, namely South Central, Southeast, North Central, Northeast, and West Areas. He also announced his plan of sponsorship and campaigning of the team through the national media. In the coming years, it is evident that a lot of improvements will be focused upon by him for the team.
