Get added business value with Volvo
Volvo have always been the kind of manufacturer to be reliable when it comes to the cars they produce, so it will probably come as a relief to fleet managers that the Swedish marque also love adding business value in their more corporate endeavours.
Volvo operates a central corporate demonstrator fleet for corporate drivers. The dealer network also runs corporate demonstrators for this purpose.
Cars are delivered nationally from the central fleet, and require a minimum of three days’ notice for a 48 hour test drive. The cars can also be utilised for longer periods at customer premises for use by all drivers, if authorized by the Volvo Business Team account manager.
They have about 250 cars on our demonstrator fleets crossing all model lines. The most popular engines are catered for – 75% of the fleet is diesel with a high percentage DRIVe.
Where a specifically requested model is not available, the Demo Centre will offer a similar alternative. When a new model arrives on fleet, existing customers are given priority test drives, often before launch. All bookings are handled directly at the demo centre.
When a request is received, they call the driver to arrange suitable dates. On the day prior to delivery, the customer will receive a text with an estimated time of delivery (two hour window). This delivery driver can conduct a full handover. The same process is in place for collections.
