According to the tournament’s Facebook page, A&M Consolidated, Bryan, Cedar Hill, Clear Lake, Fort Bend Bush, Fort Bend Willowridge, El Paso Montwood, El Paso Socorro, San Antonio Wagner and Houston Westbury are expected to make the trip to Austin.
The tournament will also showcase several marquee players as Texas A&M-bound guards Alex Caruso and J-Mychal Reese respectively play for A&M Consolidated and Bryan. Marquette recruit Aaron Durley and Texas commit Cameron Ridley (who earlier this month reportedly recorded 52 points and 25 rebounds in a single game) will suit up for Fort Bend Bush while Cedar Hill forward Zeldric King will play for Tulsa next year.
The Westlake Holiday Classic will tip off on the Westlake campus at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday with a game between the tournament’s host and Socorro. Pflugerville will play its first tournament game at 10 a.m. on derrick rose 1.5 Tuesday against San Antonio Wagner.
