Ear Hearing Aids are as Common as a Pair of Glasses
The hearing aid is an electronic device that is most often worn behind the ear and consists of a microphone, a receiver (speaker) and an amplifier microchip powered by a battery. Due to recent discoveries in the field of digital technology and advanced electronic design, the latest ear hearing aid is so small that they are practically invisible in the ear canal. Despite its small size, there has been no compromise in quality of sound reproduction. Even today there are many misunderstandings about the use of the ear hearing aid.

There are three types of hearing aids available: behind the ear, in ear, completely in the ear canal.
So here is a brief description of the three types of hearing aids.
Hearing aids behind the ear (BTE) consist of a plastic casing which contains the electronics that amplify sounds and transmit them through the tube that connects to the ear.
In ear hearing aids (ITE), unlike hearing aids behind the ear, are placed in the pavilion of the ear and consists of only one shell which contains the electronics. This shell is made after taking a footprint of the user’s ear so it can fit perfect and to not cause discomfort. This type of device is often controlled 100% automatic.
Completely in the ear canal hearing aids (CIC) is, as its name indicates, placed deep into the ear canal. Despite its small size, this type of hearing aid contains the latest technology the same as the larger models. In the ear canal hearing aids, are almost invisible in the ear, so no one can see that you are using an ear hearing aid.
People with hearing loss have difficulty hearing in large public spaces such as cinemas, theaters, churches or conference rooms. Fortunately, these places are equipped with transmission by induction. All three types of hearing aids have the option named phone, you can activate it and hear sounds with the microphone instead of induction. This means that you can hear directly from the source signal and you are free of interference from background noise produced by other people or audience.
Although hearing aids are not able to fully restore the original hearing ability, they are able to restore the majority of your hearing. Hearing aids can be a new way to have an active life allowing you a new ability to hear.
