It has new-gothic style and the biggest bell in Switzerland. The building of the cathedral begins in 1421 and finished in 1571-73. The building takes more than 100 years but the final result was an impressive and breathtaking building which attracts many tourists.
While you are visiting the Münster of Bern during your city break, you should see the Erlacherhof cathedral – a baroque palace, where the president of Switzerland is staying.
