“Hi, My problem is that my iMac – iDVD11 doesn’t “recognise” my camcorder JVC (GR-DVL 9800), allthough there is a Fire Wire conection. Do not laugh – the camcorder is 9 years old, but still, before I bye myself a new one – one should try (camcorder is in perfect state, but I never got the software to it).
At the other hand, if I decide to by a new camcorder, what do You recomand… All these new camcorders have no fire-wire, but usb… For example, I liked very much Sony DCR-SR 77, but I cannot find if this camcorder is compatible with Mac.
