The Huawei M318 is a beautiful clamshell phone with an elegant black finish. It is actually the first phone from Huawei that was offered to the public by a US carrier. It is a CDMA phone operable at both the 850 and 1900 MHz frequencies. At 91 grams, this dual-band phone is lightweight as compared to other entry-level phones.
The Huawei M318 supports a number of customization features that users will love. Its graphics can be customized as necessary. It also supports customizable ringtone settings using voice-recorded rings and permits MP3 music to be set as ringtones. Assigning a ringer ID for each of the contacts in the phonebook is also possible with this phone.
It has a phonebook capacity of 500 and users can input four contact numbers plus an email address per contact name. Its calendar feature can hold up to 20 events. No one expects the phone to manage that much information into such a slim design.
