The Development of the Shemale
Historically the term shemale was originally used to refer to a women who was considered aggressive, which during that particular era usually meant her peers considered her too outspoken, too independent, or too adventures. Times have changed. Today the term shemale is still considered a derogatory word, but instead of being used to refer to a woman who speaks her mind, the term refers to a trans-woman.
For those who might not know, the term trans-woman refers to a person who was born a male, but for some reason (no one knows if it is genetic, psychological, or because of environment) the person feels a mistake was somehow made and that they were supposed to be a girl. The degree that a person goes to in order to correct the error depends on the male. Some opt for a sex change operation while others suck it up and try to go through life like nothing is wrong.
The general consensus is that if women possess the male genitalia, but has either used enough hormones to start growing boobs, or has had her boobs surgically built, she can be considered a shemale.
Up until recently, the shemale has been a type of person no one really knew what to do with. She wasn’t girly enough for girl’s nights out, and she certainly wasn’t one of the boys. She should have fit into the gay community, but even they ostracized her. Growing up she, or he, probably didn’t fit in with their classmates and the feeling of being on the outside looking in, probably hasn’t changed much once she reached adulthood.
The chances are also pretty good that the typical she male longs to go through the surgery that would allow them to erase themselves of the male traits they were born with, and start life as an anatomically correct female, but for many this simply is an options. Sex chance operations aren’t the type of surgery health insurance plans cover, and some will never be able to afford the surgery out of their own earnings. Most shemales have resigned themselves to the fact that they are going to go through life, feeling like they were the butt of a cruel cosmic joke.
