Brand Cacharel was founded through the efforts of one person – Jean Bousquet, a passionate patriot of his native city Nimes (Southern France). In 1956, Bousquet, a tailor, has ambitious plans, he moved to Paris, and in 1962 registered the trademark there Cacharel (south of France in the summer haunts teal duck, whose name in the dialect of Nimes sounds like Cacharel). Jean Bousquet created the “feminine” style, romantic, rather than conformist image – daily quality clothing at reasonable prices. In the late 60s he created collections of men and children’s clothing.
Today, the company Cacharel is one of the leading places in the world of fashion, with 95 exclusive boutiques in 40 countries. The link between clothing and perfume, manufactured under the brand Cacharel, are the elements of romanticism that are present in it’s fashion and fragrances.

The perfume was created by Laurent Bruyere i Dominique Ropion in 2003.
