Since their invention and domestication, the Electrical appliances have revolutionized every prospect of a Common Man’s life. Be it the transformation of a lantern to an electric bulb or tube light to the latest energy saving CFLs and what not; though much could not be anticipated during the years of its invention. And so with the calculated amount of petroleum resources the man kind is left with, it would not take long to understand “WHAT AFTER THIS????” with which I take my liberties to announce and Welcome you to the ELECTRIFIED ERA of Biking!
For the beginners, Electric Bikes wouldn’t be much different from your mobile phone- Plug it, charge it and Forget it! Once I started using it (and quit my fuel galloping vehicle), I realized where all my expenses were going so far. Getting rid of the fluctuating and unavoidable petroleum was a welcomed delight to my pocket. An ordinary Electric bike would be completely charged in just 2 units and be ready to go around the city, with a minimum average of 35- 80 kms (around 110 kms as in some models). Light weight, easy to handle and best to take care of (as they hardly require any care!!) and would go for almost 20 times more distance at the cost you would pay for 1 liter petrol.
The elimination of major mechanical parts such as engine, gear box, clutch etc, simplifies maintenance. The electric motor would replace the conventional piston cylinder engine and most importantly the rattle metallic sound making it completely soundless during driving.
And lastly, when every Vroom of your bike makes you conscious about the possible environmental destruction you are causing, switch to something that is more FUN with less destruction DONE!
