Street rods needs to be preserved for the future generations because they are an important piece of the huge jigsaw called automobile history. Without them, the jigsaw will be never complete and we will lose out on valuable part of the history. Street rods signify the epitome of racing technology as these cars are built for pushing the limits. The main identity of a street rod is the exposed engine bay and bright paint work that is sure to turn some heads wherever it goes. You need not buy an expensive car and then strip it down to build a street rod. Any used second and car from a garage or junkyard will do. You will be spending majority of money on building the engine because street rod engine are not readily available in the market and they have to be built only from custom made parts.
