How to Clean HP Laser Cartridges

Cleaning HP laser ink cartridges must be regularly performed particularly when printouts begin to display miss dots or produce white lines. It is crucial for the office to produce perfectly printed reports and documents to be submitted to top management for review, or even clients for presentation materials.

Offices must never compromise on the quality of prints; this can reveal a lot about how a company values its image and reputation. Companies must invest in original HP laser ink cartridges and properly maintain the same to ensure no resources are wasted. While it is possible that HP laser ink cartridges have simply run out of ink, users must confirm this before they are discarded. The problem may probably lie with dirty print heads of HP laser ink cartridges.

Dirty print heads are caused by dried ink which has clogged spray nozzles found on HP laser ink cartridges. To solve this problem, users must turn on the printer and load the equipment with paper. Open the word processing program found on the computer. Click on “file”, followed by “print” for the print dialog box to open. Choose the particular printer device containing cartridges for cleaning and click on “properties”. Select the service tab and look for the “service this device” option.Once the service tab appears, click on “clean the print cartridge”. There will be a few steps to follow to perform the process. This requires printing test pages to check on the effectiveness of each cleaning level.

If all printouts are perfectly clear, cancel the remaining cleaning processes to avoid ink wastage. If the problem still occurs, repeat the steps again. If this still fails, it is time to dispose of HP laser ink cartridges and replace these with new ones.
