Skepticism Concerning Luton Airport Parking

Airport Car Parkz had a eventful summer in 2011. Things didn’t every time run smoothly but we recovered well and continued to offer a competitive secure car parking service to passengers at London Luton Airport. Returning visitors would have seen some improvements to Airport Car Parkz Park and Ride service. The ageing Transit mini buses were replaced by a fleet of 17 seater Mercedes Benz 811 vehicles that offer a more comfortable relocation to and from the Luton Airport terminal. New traffic-easing layouts across the terminal and its approaches have made it feasible for us to offer a more suitable transfer schedule.
Early travellers will recall the traffic disorder some mornings and following delays brought on by entering and exiting vehicles crossing over at the terminal roundabout. Airport planners came up with a solution that sends all traffic across the parimeter of the short term car park which has improved the flow in that area at least. An innovative new designated Meet and Greet area was also provided even though it has proved to be puzzling for a few fliers and annoying for a couple of others.
Nevertheless our courtesy transfer busses continue to run 24 hours a day at 10-15 minute intervals. In busy periods, if all the waiting passengers are not able get on one bus they will not normally be held in reserve waiting more than 15 minutes. Drivers are conscious of their turnaround times and will try to accommodate passengers even when some are mostly bullish or try to skip queues. Despite this fortunately rare stampede mentality, which has been problematical for our bus drivers to control previously, it remains to be a reliable service that pulls favourable remarks from lots of customers.
Recent customers will have seen further improvements to the safe car parking area. They will have noticed new parimeter fencing and a security barrier to make sure better control of vehicles entering or leaving the secure area. New security cameras give round-the-clock supervision of all activity in the car park and will log the registration numbers of all vehicles.
Airport Car Parkz continues to grow by improving both our Park & Ride and Meet & Greet services and by providing a safer, more secure premises to guard your vehicle as you’re gone.
