Hurricane watches were posted in Boston and The big apple yesterday.Battery Park City and Manhattan have plans to evacuate as well due to concerns of flooded subways. Weather experts say there are going to be some extremely dangerous storm surges that could raise the water level by 11 feet above ground level in North Carolina, 8 feet above ground level in Chesapeake Bay and 6 feet above sea level in New Jersey. The governors of North Carolina, Maryland, Virginia, Area, and Miami to Key West New York all declared states of emergency. Some people are saying this isn’t likely to be a coastal storm and that we’re about to see some impacts Everglades tours well inland, hopefully not at all and things will prove alright.
