Unwanted Hair and how it affects Self Confidence
“Alone” in the woods
So you’re out for a nice afternoon stroll in the woods. It’s a nice sunny day and you want to take advantage of it. All of a sudden you see something move out of the corner of your eye. As you turn your head to see what it is you see a man frantically taking pictures like he’s expecting the moment to pass. “That’s weird,” you think to yourself. Annoyed, you ignore him and just keep walking. Sure enough, 10 minutes later it happens again. Another photographer. He’s taking pictures as fast as he can but when you turn to confront him… he grabs his stuff, screams, and runs into the forest.
Of course this first paragraph is a bit of an exaggeration but truthfully this is how some people feel that are forced to deal with the problem of unwanted hair. We all knew the girl in high school that had too much hair on her face, arms and legs, she would do everything she could to cover it up. She never wore shorts and even tried to wear long sleeve shirts when it was 90 degrees outside. The sad thing was how the other kids treated her, like an outcast, and most of the time without a friend for comfort. The effect that experiences like this can have on a person’s self image is sometimes very damaging and definitely shapes who that person becomes, for better or for worse.
Do others struggle with this as well?
Roughly 15% of women suffer with excessive facial hair and even more that deal with excessive hair on other areas of the body. For many, this is very embarrassing. Luckily, hair can be easily removed with some shaving cream and a razor but who wants to shave every day? As a kid, you aren’t really the person making those decisions so unless you have a parent that understands the situation and wants to help, you’re pretty much on your own. As an adult, the decision on how to deal with issues like this is all up to us. Is the money that it costs and the effort that it takes to get rid of the hair worth the increase in confidence that comes when the hair is gone? Most would probably answer that with a resounding “YES.”
What is the easiest way to remove it?
Some opt for waxing, epilating, sugaring, or laser treatments but the price can be very high and they don’t really offer any guarantees either.. Unfortunately, because of the cost associated with these more permanent methods for removing hair, most people are left with the difficult choice of either staying hairy or just continuing to shave, day after day. Many have also found success with the no!no! 8800 hair removal system because of the cost, it’s ease of use and the fact that treatments can be done while you are getting ready for your day in the privacy of your own home. Does nono work? People using the product say that it is a powerful method for removing unwanted hair.
Regardless of your choice for eradicating the hair, once it is gone, the boost to your confidence is great. The sun shines brighter, you feel better, and the guy with the camera is looking to take your picture for an entirely different reason.
