For this reason it is important to wear modest clothing and refrain from flaunting expensive jewelry when touring about the town. Reserve your finest gear for your restaurant reservations and dress casually when exploring a new area. Instead of venturing out into the world by yourself, try traveling with tourism groups in shuttles or guided tours, as this will not only ensure your safety, it will also give you a more informative view of the local attractions.
