Soon after it was released, it became an extremely popular product and it also gained the reputation of being the most selling console of the current generation. During the first week after Playstation was released, more than 900,000 units were sold successfully. The ability to play DVD drives in Playstation was like the cherry on the cake.
So which is better- Sony Playstation or Microsoft Xbox 360? Well, in terms of graphics Xbox 360 takes the crown but Sony PS 2 is far ahead in terms of the variety in games. Sony PS 2 offered a plethora of games which managed to capture the attention of gamers and these were also successful in retaining their attention. If you were to pick one of the two then it would be a really hard task because both of them are fully loaded tech-gadgets which are quite impressive in their own ways.
