A Healthy Diet Helps You Avoid Yeast Infections

Candida albicans is a type of yeast that naturally occurs in a person’s body. It usually lives harmoniously with other microorganisms and performs certain important functions. However, when the balance of bacteria in the body changes, Candida yeast may proliferate and overpower the other healthy microorganisms, leading to Candida yeast infections.

Many people are not immediately aware that they are developing or already have Candida yeast infections. The yeast infection symptoms may be severe or may be unnoticeable. Candida yeast usually stays in your mouth, intestinal tract, throat, and genitals. However, this can also enter holes in your intestinal tract, go into the blood stream, and go into any organ in your body. Sometimes, Candida yeast produces toxins, as many as 70 different types.

If the person feels the yeast infection symptoms subsiding, intake of carbohydrates can be increased again.

In addition, foods with yeast must also be temporarily removed from the diet as part of the yeast infection treatment. Bread made with yeast, beer, tomato paste, mushrooms, cheese, and fermented foods are ill-advised. If the person has allergic reactions to fungi, practitioners believe that fungi foods must also be eliminated. The length of time on a Candida diet depends on how long a person experiences yeast infections and how severe the yeast infection symptoms are.
