Amber is found in many countries

Many people consider amber as a stone because we usually see amber in hard form and people use amber in ornaments like stones. Amber is an organic material that is made from a fossil tree resin. The tree from which amber is taken is very soft and sticky so amber can be molded in different forms and shapes. Similarly, there are many uses of amber and it is used by ornament industry for making fabulous jewelry items. Phenolic type of amber is extracted from angiosperms and is used for functional uses. There are five different classes of amber according to their chemical composition. Class I of amber is the most abundant class that comprises of carboxylic acid and it is further divided into a having succinic acid which gives irritating fume on burning. B of class I of amber does not have succinic acid and c is Dominican amber. Class II of amber is formed from cadinene and class III have polystyrenes. Whereas, class IV of amber is not polymerized and class V is produced by a pine.
Amber can be shaped into many kinds and forms and natural Baltic amber is the kind of amber that does have the natural properties without any chemical change in them. Modified Baltic amber is the kind of amber that is prepared in a unit under high pressure. Whereas, reconstructed Baltic amber is prepared in a plant by adding certain components in that.
