How much space you’re going to have there is also really crucial. You won’t always have acres of space available to you. Make sure you have all the details of this at hand and in advance. Don’t leave it to chance. See if it’s possible to have a look around before the day you’ll be playing.
Finally you need to consider how long you’re going to be playing. If it’s going to be an all night gig you’ll have to prepare for that. Similarly just getting a 20minute slot will also need to be thought through. Just think about it and what changes you’ll have to make.
