Alarcon – A Wonderful Historical Village in Spain
There is a famous river in Spain named Jucar which flows through the province of Cuenca. Situated near this river is the village of Alarcon and this village is only one hour and thirty minutes by road from Madrid. It is a remarkable village belonging to the medieval times of Spain. There is a wall around the village which is worth seeing. River Jucar near the village gives it a wonderful atmosphere. The surroundings of the river are rocky and so is the village. There are eagles and many other birds that reside in the rocky neighborhoods around the village close to the River Jucar. They fly over the village the whole day presenting a wonderful sight for the people residing in it.
The houses in the village are built from stones. There are narrow streets in the village and a car park where visitors park their cars on arrival. There is a beautiful castle and a few churches in the village that make the overall environment an aesthetic experience. The great thing about Alarcon is that it gives a rural experience of Spain to visitors. The overall environment of the village is peaceful and calm. Since then it has earned a great reputation among its customers because of the great service that is offered here. Regional dishes are mostly offered by this Parador, and the famous dishes include lamb, goat and other meat dishes.
