LA Kings have been inconsistent all season. They have about 6 solid offensive performers – Justin Williams, Kopitar, Mike Richards, Simon Gagne (injured for much of year), Jeff Carter, and Dustin Brown but they also have about 7 or 8 players who don’t do squat.
Anze Kopitar Jersey Against the Preds Trevor Lewis had the game of his life. L.A. signed Willie Mitchell to a 2 year deal but he is not what they need to score. They need to find better role players to replace the Trevor Lewis types that outnumber the skill players. They are wasting their solid goaltending and a good defensemen in Drew Doughty.
11 points the past (almost) 6 games, and I get the feeling he’s not done yet. LA has lost 29 games this year, and the team has scored a total of 34 (!) goals in those games. Man, that sucks. Despite the ridiculously low shot total from the WIngs, you can’t fault him for the season they are having.
Drew Doughty Jersey It’s really hard to hate the Kings, from my point of view. Sure, they represent the huge city of LA, and they brought the “gangsta” look to the NHL in the early 90’s as the first team to introduce black jerseys, but mostly, I forget they even have a team most of the time. Guess everyone is too busy following the Lakers or something…
If you are in fact a die-hard Kings fan from there, tell me I’m wrong, because I’d love to hear from you and the stuff you put up with on a daily basis. You are a TRUE fan, and we need more folks like that here.
