Keep Jokinen/Skinner/Ruutu together–Lynny3680314
I think the Jokinen/Skinner/Ruutu line has tremendous chemistry and synergy. I’m a strong advocate for keeping them together. On the other hand, I’d like to see a player like Galchenyuk or Faksa get drafted in 2012.
I think a lot of why Skinner gets hit the way he does uncalled is due to his attempted “baiting” of calls earlier in the season. When he’d hit the deck and look back or chew a ref out for a no-call, they remember that. It doesn’t win you fans. I agree though that he needs a little more protection than Ruutu or Jokinen. I would love to see someone like Zack Kassian or Chris Stewart. It will be tough to land someone like that since those type of guys are in high demand, but it’s always nice to dream.
Jeff Skinner Jersey I’d also be very happy to see Jim Rutherford work a trade for Chris Stewart or Dustin Brown or Ryan Johanssen. I’d like to give Muller the option of putting together for some shifts a Chris Stewart/Skinner/Ruutu line to pound teams that have decided the way to contain Skinner is to take incessant cheap shots.
Galchenyuk has the potential to be a first line NHL star; and he has the leadership to take care of business when opposing teams take liberties with his teammates. When I saw the dirty headshot yesterday on Yakupov, I thought if Galchenyuk was on the ice, he would have lit up Halmo.
Jim Rutherford is a man on a mission to find a good fit for Staal’s wing; and I hope in the process the player he finds also has a physical element to his game to add and assist Ruutu in keeping opposing teams honest.
Carolina Hurricanes Store Ruutu had a couple of dynamic hits last night. Ruutu is still adjusting to the new rules; but is a great open ice hitter.
