Google Panda and Page Rank Updates
An important concept in SEO is Keywords difficulty. The underlying theme of this concept is to unearth those keywords that are present in a website and it enables the website to achieve 1st page position in SERP.

The HPR-KD for the set of 1000 KW was 5.8 averages in December and 5.9 averages in January. It is remarkable that the HPR-KD for these 1000 words remained stable.
One major change which will have a far reaching effect on SEO is the inclusion of visitor approval of WebPages into its algorithms. Earlier the approval was gauged solely by the quality of back links to a webpage which was indicated by the Page rank. With the Panda updates being incorporated into the Google algorithm in March 2011, a greater importance is being given to user approval, rather than artificial back linking. Panda updates which is named after the Google engineer who invented it takes into account a number of different parameters of user approval or disapproval. These parameters include the time spent by the user for a particular website, the bounce rates, and return visits. All these factors will now have a bearing on the positioning of the WebPages on the Google SERP.
