Pole Dancing – An unconventional way of working out
People tend to get bored with the conventional things and are always looking for more options to burn fat and calories. So is true with the exercises. The treadmill, gym machines and yoga are very impressive and helping exercises when someone wants to burn some extra calories. But, to some people, these traditional and conventional methods of exercise do not appear to be appealing any more. This made space for aerobics to the gym. In the present times aerobics is very popular; aerobics is a certain freestyle exercise done on the rhythm and music. When people got interested in the dances to be a form of exercise too it brought pole dance also in the field.
Till a few years back the very mention of x-pole dance would bring frowns on the faces of people. But with the new requirements coming in it is a modern exercise. There are many other unconventional forms of workout also around the globe and pole dance can only be an addition to the list. When learning pole dance it includes lots of turns and movements that empower the muscles and bones. The dance is done with a vertical pole. The pink pole dancer has to balance herself on the pole while twisting and swirling. And to be able to execute these moves spins and climbs the dancer has to use the core power. No aides are available in the professional performance; although the dancer in practice or the beginners use some aides that help them with the moves. But on the next level it is not allowed. So what supports the dancer is the muscle power and inner energy.
To be able to support the moves the muscles have to be toned up in a very proper way. To learn these moves, the dancer’s muscles have to work a good deal and this hard work generates along a lot of energy exhale. On an average the calories burn in this exercise is equivalent to calories burnt in any intensive exercise in the gym. The dance includes many movements that can very well be put under the category of gymnastic. Along with that this dance contains different movements from aerobics and other dances too. These steps need a lot of flexibility and inner strength of muscles. The dancer has to balance the body and stabilize it too. This is not possible if a dancer does not practice extensively.
