The Motion Activated Sprinklers automatically detects deer, raccoons, rabbits, dogs and more as they approach and then repels the animal with a startling burst of water. The movement, noise and spray scares the animals away and teaches them to stay away from this area from then on. One sprinkler covers approximately a 1,000 square foot area.

Motion Activated Sprinklers is a great pest control for home improvement and very easy to set up since it simply attaches to a garden hose and is then set in the ground. You just turn the water and the unit on. Then it’s ready to protect your yard, fruit trees, vegetables, flowers and water features from any unwanted critters.

It works for you day and night without using any harmful chemicals or unattractive barriers. You can even link the sprinkler to other sprinklers to form an effective water barrier. This sprinkler can operate up to 6 months on a single nine volt battery.

What Are People Saying About The Motion Activated Sprinkler?

The main problems I have noticed people experiencing are cats using their yard as a litter box or deer eating their expensive plants, vegetables or flowers. Whatever the problem was that was encountered was solved with this device. The majority had tried everything under the sun before they finally discovered this extraordinary device.

A lot of people love the sprinkler for other reasons besides solving their problems. It is actually entertainment for their kids during the summer months. The kids love running around in their bathing suits back and forth by the sprinkler so they can get sprayed with a burst of water. So this device can solve your problem plus entertain your kids. Luckily it’s safe for your children up close as well.

A system like this is easy to set up, safe and will not harm the animals, so you can also use it around pets as well. A motion activated sprinkler system works by delivering an unexpected spray of water in the direction of the animal when it comes into the vicinity of your lawn or garden. This spray of water is accompanied by a noise and movement from the sprinkler head that act as an additional deterrents. This will actually teach pets and other wildlife to avoid your garden. There is no need for traps, or harmful chemicals anymore.

Motion Activated Sprinklers system I installed was the Contech Scarecrow, and I am very happy with my decision. The Contech effectively keeps all forms of wildlife from eating my plants and digging up the ground. The system also has an impressive range. One of these can cover an area of 1000 square feet. If you would like to cover a larger area, these sprinklers also link together in a series very easily. The setup of my Contech Scarecrow was also a breeze. All I had to do was install the battery, connect it to the hose, and place it in the ground. After a few minor adjustments to the spray arc, it was ready to go.

So if you’re looking for a great way to keep wildlife out of your garden, a motion activated sprinkler system is definitely the right choice for you.

It is very hard to keep cats out of your garden, but do not give up, it can be managed. Cat owners may not appreciate why gardeners want to prevent cats gaining access to their gardens, but there are justifiable reasons, it is not always that gardeners hate cats. Cats are vicious hunters and can also be quite destructive.

For example, my next door neighbour had a cat, but felt lonely when her daughter moved away, so she allowed the cat to to have young. Now she has six cats. But cats are not like dogs. My dog stays in my garden not upsetting anyone apart from by barking if a stranger walks past the gate However, that is his job and he is not only warning me but the neighbours as well. These six cats do not remain in their own garden though, so we have all acquired six cats whether we want them or not.

The first problem I became aware of was that birds stopped coming to pick my dog’s bowl clean in the afternoon. Then I saw a cat killing a lizard, a lovely nine inch specimen and then I remembered not seeing many lizards lately. There is one lizard, the Tokay, that they have totally wiped out – I used to listen to them calling at night, but no longer.

Cats also dig up flowers when they defecate and use furniture as clawing boards, so I do not want these destructive animals in my garden. But how do you keep cats out of your garden?

Walls are rarely protection against cats, but cats will often prowl along the bottom of walls and if they come across a gap, they will probably go in out of inquisitiveness, so repair all low-level openings in your fences. There is not much you can do about the top of your wall other than putting broken glass or electrified wiring up there, but that is not a good idea.
