Anime-Goers Love Axis Powers Hetalia Cosplay
The legions of costumed characters, some of them wearing furry ears and tails, others armed with swords, daggers and maybe even an ax or two, are suiting up for EvilleCon 2012, Evansville’s third annual Japanese anime convention that a celebration of anime and manga, Japanese animation and graphic novels, has grown each year since 2009, when about 350 people visited The Centre for the convention’s inaugural year as a paid event. And surprisingly, I discovered my favorite Axis Powers Hetalia Cosplay group. Massive attendance for the event, running Friday through Sunday at the Holiday Inn Evansville Airport hotel at 7101 U.S. 41 North, promises to reach its highest level yet, says Joey Stalker, a spokesperson for the event.
The con is relatively young: it was first held in 2009, but it has quickly grown from around 300 attendants in 2009 to 600 in 2011. Truth be told, I used to live in Evansville but never got the chance to make it over there myself. I’ve never been to an anime convention in my life. I’m actually pretty excited about the display of Axis Powers Hetalia Cosplay for this weekend then.
I hazily recalled the moment when I was a little kid-I watched a lot of Dragon Ball Z. My favorite character was easily Future Trunks, the slender, blue-eyed, dreamy half-Saiyan, there to save an alternate past and find hope for his destroyed present. At that time, I imagined I will have a chance to get a Dragon Ball Costumes one day. I am addicted to everything about him, especially his personality. I wanted to be just like the guy who was kind enough to save Goku from dying of a heart problem he didn’t know he had even though it wasn’t going to really help him in any noticeable way. In the convention, there are dazzling superb cosplayers, Soul Eater Costumes and my present favor Axis Powers Hetalia Cosplay etc.
This year’s EvilleCon will feature special guests, panels, demonstrations, vendors, music, dancing, karaoke, films and contests. The Mathises are renowned for their wig-making, and they’ll lead a workshop on creating wigs that capture the stylized, sculptured look characteristic of manga and anime figures, and they’ll help judge EvilleCon’s costume contest. Roman Empire Holy Costume from Axis Powers Hetalia Cosplay is displayed as I expected for the event. The black overcoat is really exclusive as I like. To impress strongly, the ensemble effect would be an indispensible process.
