Hyundai Motors, the South Korean auto-giant in India has recently launched the all new Hyundai i20 iGen at the attractive price tag of Rs. 4.73 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi). This revamped machine has been introduced in both petrol and diesel engine options in total 12 variants. Moreover, this new two-box has been blessed with some modernized and innovative features that have been introduced after lot of surveys in order to offer the buyers the best in class products.
As far as the price is concerned, the petrol variants of this car are available in the range of Rs. 473,400 to Rs. 665,894, while its diesel variants are available in the range of Rs. 596,334 to Rs. 744,013. The other available automatic transmission variant of this car is available at the price tag of Rs. 767,405.
The company has blessed all the variants of this hatchback with improved in-line options that has got better power and fuel economy. The petrol variants of the iGen i20 are powered by a 1.2 liter Kappa power-train that has that has potential to churn maximum power of 84 PS, while its diesel variants have got the 1.4 liter U2 CRDi diesel engine that produces maximum power of 90 PS.
All the available diesel variants of new iGen i20 are powered by a 6 speed (5 front and 1 reverse) manual transmission. The petrol variants have the 6-speed manual transmission variants, but their also a 6-speed automatic transmission 1.4 liter Gamma engine variant available that churns phenomenal power of 100 PS with peak torque of 13.9 kgm.
The 1.2 liter petrol variant of this car delivers mileage of 18.5 kmpl, while the 1.4 liter diesel variant delivers mileage of 21.9 kmpl. The other 1.4 liter AT transmission variant of this hatchback gives mileage of 15 kmpl.
