Since the launch of Tata Nano in March 2009, the homegrown automaker has gone through several commendable efforts in making it a true ‘People’s Car’, but due to some or the other grounds it hasn’t worked till now. Tata Nano Diesel Review : – The Indian multinational had recently launched the first upgrade of mini-car as 2012 Tata Nano, which had received overwhelming response. The sales chart moved up as it was offered with 10 vibrant new shades along with many additional elements.
The company has now decided to shed the label of Nano being poor man’s car as it will now boast a grown-up 800cc engine that will be available in diesel engine as well apart from regular petrol that will target a normal car buyer in the country.
A greener fuel alternate in the form of CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) version was displayed at the 2012 Delhi Expo that caught every one’s eye and is said to be available in near future.
The existing 624cc engine Nano will moreover see more avatars like the electric and frugal diesel version. Also a contemporary and hi-tech version called ‘Tata Pixel’ is already making news worldwide for its innovative and class leading expertise, designed for European market it will be officially introduced this year after loads of showcasing.
In order to penetrate, Tata has planned a new sales strategy to make Nano available in Tier III and Tier IV cities as well, besides opening 230 new and exclusive Tata Nano outlets across the country.
Sighting the low sales figures Indian Conglomerate is fully focused on the export front too as it has already made its debut in Nepal and all set for Bangladesh, while there are talks with Indonesia and Brazil for overseas selling orders.
