New Audi TT launched in India at Rs 48.36 lakh, sales begin from June
Audi India, the Indian unit of the Germany based leading luxury car maker Audi AG, today lunched the much awaited new Audi TT coupe model in the Indian market. The Audi TT model was initially launched in the global market in year 2007, followed by the launch of the second generation Audi TT in 2011. However, until now the company was selling the first generation model of the car in the Indian market, which was replaced by the new 2011 Audi TT in the country. The coupe carries a starting Price tag of Rs 48.36. The car is being bought to the Indian market through CBU (Completely Built Unit) route, and comes through CBU route. The company hopes to sell more than 50 Audi TTs in the upcoming year.
Audi TT Review : Based on the A5 platform of the Volkswagen AG, the new Audi TT coupe is blessed with the next level design characteristics. The coupe is offered with the 2.0L Turbocharged four-cylinder diesel unit which is capable of generating a peak power of 200 PS. There are transmission options offered by the company including 6-speed manual and a 6-speed S tronic transmission.
The new Audi TT is one of the most feature rich coupes in the world, and carries a range of new age technological features. The front grille of the coupe carries the same traditional ‘yawning’ look along with Xenon high-intensity headlamps and daytime running LEDs. Side profile of the car has been given a fascinating presence by offering standard 16-inch or 17-inch alloy wheels. A unique central fog light along with full sized rear spoiler give a finishing touch to the rear profile of the car.
The coupe is loaded with a range of comfort, convenience, entertainment and safety features including a USB enabled music system with Bluetooth connectivity, electrically adjustable heated seats with leather and alcantara finishes, foldable rear seats, ABS with EBD, and many more.
