“Our sourcing has consistently increased over the last three years,” begins Alexander. “Takko sourced 3 million pieces in its first year. This figure went up to 10 million pieces the following year and reached 13 million during the third year. Last year, we sourced about 15 million pieces,” he points out.
The company procures garments and accessories for its stores from India, Sri Lanka, China, Bangladesh, Thailand, Turkey and Cambodia. Takko procures about 100 million pieces annually, which includes fashion accessories. Takko’s product basket includes ladies garments, men’s wear and children’s wear. But the focus remains on women’s wear with more and more women becoming fashion-conscious. The company offers romantic strap tops to casual outdoor jackets from infants’ jeans to maxi tweed skirts for XXL ladies.
“In Germany today, including the older women want inexpensive but top quality fashion garments in addition to our endeavour is to offer them interesting things every season,” suggests Alexander. Takko Fashion is a fashion discounter to the average European household. It caters to your entire segment from small kids to women more than 30 and may become even over 30. “Our average customer is looking for fashionable yet inexpensive garments.
