Types and Installation of Cane Bolts
The other names of the Cane bolts are as gate anchors or drop bolts. They are usually used for large doors of the main gates, shed, garage, in keeping it closed and open. The function of the cane bolts is to hold the doors to the wall, ground, and the ceiling that provide the strength. These cane bolts can be attached horizontally or vertically.

The 24″ it is paired with wood screws with a pair of hanging guides, one round strike, and a hanger for the bolt that helps to held the bolt upward. For the 36″ and 48″ heavy duty cane bolt it also available with wood screws, a pair of hanging guides, a strike in flat rectangular shape, and a hanger to hold the bolt upward.
? The stainless steel bolts comes in mill finish and they are used in marine surroundings, doors near pools. It is made up of 18-8 stainless steel with roughly 24″ in height and a diameter of 5/8″. This bolt is available with a pair of guides and a hanger to hold the bolt upward.
? If you want to achieve a rustic look from details then you can use the cane bolts which are solid bronze. It usually has a height of 20″ with a 2″x4″ of mounting plate and its bolt has 5/8″ in diameter. Same with the other bolts, it also includes wood screws, a hanger to hold ii up, and bolts.
