Little Millennium – The effects of Kids Play School

With changing times, requirements and ways of upbringing our children are also changing. Keeping this in mind schools are now using new methods and various latest techniques for educating them.
In the pre schools these days’ teachers work with individual children, small groups and whole group at different times during their day spent at the pre-primary school.

Communication is the most important aspect in the growth of every child. Therefore maintaining a correct and balanced student teacher ratio i.e 1:10 (one teacher for every ten students) is necessary.
One such primary school that gives this aspect importance is the Little Millennium School founded in 2006 and successfully running over 240 pre- schools all over India with the help of their well trained team. They believe in giving their primary kids a lot of personal attention which benefits them in their social, emotional and educational dimension.

Pre-school classrooms are no longer dull with just a blackboard and desk- chair. Schools are putting in a lot of effort to make their classrooms look vibrant and bright with informal seating. After all a school is a child’s second home and kids have to feel as comfortable as they would feel in the surroundings of their home.
At the Little Millennium pre-school from hygiene to the learning aids everything is very well thought of so that kids can make the most of every moment spent at their nursery school.
Talking of learning aids earlier a text book, blackboard and chalk were the only medium of teaching, but a lot has changed since those times. Gone are the days of just books and books! Primary schools today use props and other visual materials in the classroom in order to stimulate the pre-scholars’ imagination.
Puzzles, picture books, art material and construction material of latest techniques are being used.

Little Millennium pre primary school offers different effective mode of teaching like the play-way method, theme – based and Montessori method are amongst a few of them.
The objectives of the pre- schools these days are:
-To encourage the physical development
-To encourage children’s imagination
-To create a happy and joyful environment
-To provide a range of experiences of children learning

Always remember, you are setting up the children for a lifetime of learning and you should create excitement around them. The more hands on activities and learning styles the primary kids engage into, that much more will they learn and retain.

As quoted by Nelson Mandela “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”
