Leah Clark a voice actress, writer and ADR director for FUNimation Entertainment. She began voice acting after shamelessly begging a friend to let her accompany them to an audition where she landed her first role in an plot of Soul Eater series. Japanese anime Soul Eater is set at Death Weapon Meister Academy—”DWMA” for short—located in the fictional Death City in Nevada, United States. The school is run by Shinigami, also known as Death, as a training facility for humans with the ability to transform into stuffs, as well as the wielders of those cool stage property, called meisters. Soul Eater Costumes from the manga are the focus point when we arrange to attend the cosplay convention.
She credits the overwhelming amount of female characters in Negima! And an odd talent for creating sheep voices for the opportunity to play her first major role, Nodoka Miyazaki which opened the door for several other memorable roles to follow. Some of her favorites are: Suzuka in Suzuka, Fuyuki in Sergeant Frog, Blair in Soul Eater costumes, Akane in Rumbling Hearts, nurse with Vocaloid Costumes, Eri in School Rumble and similar hot Anime Cosplay.
Her writing credits include Suzuka, Sasami, The Magical Girl Club, Strike Witches, and Soul Eater costumes. Leah can currently be heard as Saki Morami in Eden of the East, Tenho in O Edo Rocket, Miya Miya in Bamboo Blade, and Nora in Spice and Wolf. As an ADR Director, Leah has helped the casts of Sasami, the Magical Girl Club, The Tower of Druaga, STRAIN, and a couple Case Closed films on their way to voice acting greatness. Raised on a steady diet of Bob Dylan, Molière, Christopher Durang and Mentos, Jamie Marchi has been making fresh and acting professionally for a number of years, which, in the interest of national security, shall not be disclosed at this time.
She is best known for roles in Witchblade (Masane Amaha), Soul Eater costumes(Liz Thompson), Sgt. Frog (Aki Hinata), Blassreiter (Amanda Werner), Spice and Wolf (Chloe), Black Cat (Rinslet Walker), Negima!(s) (Haruna), Burst Angel (Meg), One Piece (Miss Valentine), Strike Witches (Shirley), The Tower of Druaga (Fatina), Yū Yū Hakusho (Juri), Ouran (Chizuru Maihara), Rin (Mimi), Fruits Basket (Motoko Minagawa), and the unforgettable Miss Polly from Shin-chan. Jamie has behind the scene experience writing script adaptations as well as ADR Directing for several shows including Spice and Wolf, Sergeant Frog, and Negima!, amongst other “yet to be announced” ridiculously awesome titles.
