Important Tips for Packing of Common Home Stuffs
Packing is one of the most important and tricky task in any kind of relocation. It saves our valuable stuffs from several damages during relocation. So, it must be done in proper way with care and dedication. There are different kinds of stuffs available in a common home and they must be handled properly to ensure their safety. Some important tips are following that will make packing of your valuable household safe and sound.
First of all make a list of items that you want to move to your new living place. After that make a list of packing supplies that you will need in packing of stuffs that you want to shift. Cardboard boxes, packing paper, bubble wrappers, fixing tapes and dispenser are the important packing supplies that you must need. Start packing of your stuffs with less useful supplies. Group your heavy stuffs in small boxes and light weight stuffs in large size boxes to maintain their weight.
China glassware, small electronics, mirrors and other delicate items are very easily breakable and need extra care during whole relocation job. You should cover them with good quality bubble wrappers and group them in suitable size of strong cardboard boxes. If needed, use soft cushioning stuffs at the bottom of the boxes. Place these stuffs in vertical position because in vertical position they become stronger. Also fill empty spaces by cushioning stuffs to reduce the fraction between items inside the box. Close the box with tape and mark them as “fragile” so that you can take their special care during whole care.
For large electronics you can use their original boxes because they were specially designed for transportation purpose. If possible switch of you electronics at least two days before the packing schedule so that they become cool and normal. Remove all the fixtures and pack them in separate plastic bags. Tape all the loose parts and restrict their movements. Pack in original cartons using padding stuffs.
Wooden stuffs are also very difficult to handle in relocation. You should first dissemble them in parts to easily manage them. Also properly numbers all the parts so that any one can easily assemble them on needs. Use good quality moving blankets and rubber pads to cover them. It will save your valuable furniture from damages and scratches.
