The occurrence of drought has become more frequent
During recent years, the topic of drought has aroused public attention. What has called for special attention is the influence that drought has had on people’s daily life.
In my opinion, there are two main reasons leading to frequent occurrence of drought, on the one hand, mankind’s unreasonable behaviors have had great negative effects on the natural environment. For example, a majority of factories and private cars emit waste gas into air, which causes the air to become much drier than before. On the other hand, forests can help to improve the natural environment. They can enhance the moisture content in the atmospheres. However human beings have cut trees recklessly in order to get benefits from trees. This may make it more difficult for people to plant new trees and the ecological system can not circle in a positive way. Because of these reasons, the majority of areas of our country becoming dry and the land is not fertile any longer. People in some areas have to go to farther places to get water for daily life.
As for this phenomenon, it is high time that we must take some necessary measures. Firstly: we should reduce emitting waste gas. Secondly, the government should set examples to citizen and plant more green plants. Relevant laws should be drawn up the law to punish people who pollute the environment.
Now, for the most important the government should help farmers to solve problem of lacking drinking water and the problem of irrigating plants in order to improve farmers’ life.
