Reasons to prefer baby cloth diapers over disposable diapers
Diaper is type of baby underwear which is used for babies. This is most helpful particularly if you are in journey. It has absorbent capacity that absorb urinate of baby and saves the dress from being dirt. When it gets soiled, the diapers required to be changed. The soiled diapers should instantly be changed so that the baby skin remain safe from creation of rashes. Hence, it frequently required to be changed as it gets soiled. Here I have given some reasons and preference about the use of diaper. Cloth diapers are the most preferred diapers because it has many benefits for baby skin. It has lots of advantages over disposable diapers. Let us see, why cloth diapers are better than disposable diapers:
- Cloth diapers are economical: Diapers made up of cloth are washable and reusable. Hence cloth diapers also best known as reusable diapers. However cost of cloth diapers are higher than disposable diapers but due to its reusable feature, it also saves your money in the long run. You can simply wash the diaper, remove any stain and dry it in sun light. Whereas disposable diapers are not usable. So inspite of being cheaper than cloth diaper, it will be costly because you frequently need to purchase disposable diapers.
- Cloth diapers are environment-friendly: Such diapers are friendly to environment and helps you reducing environment hazard and contamination due to its reusable ability. On the other hand disposable diapers are not environment friendly. Disposable diapers once soiled need to replace and can’t be reused which uses lot of landfill space. Improper disposing of them causes soil and water contamination due to their fecal and urine contents.
- Cloth diapers have natural fibers: Most cloth diapers are made of natural woven fibers like fleece and cotton. Such fibers significantly absorb wetness. Whereas disposable diapers use crystals made of harmful chemicals to absorb wetness. Such chemicals have been found to cause toxic effects on babies. Disposable diapers also uses a chemical i.e. Dioxin that causes skin irritations and allergic reactions.
There are some more factors that can prove the cloth diapers to better than disposable diapers. So you should buy diapers like cloth diapers. However, if you are in journey then you can prefer disposable diapers. But for home and regular use, you should go for cloth diapers which is best for your baby skin.
